Moonpig

The range and quality of Moonpig cards is unrivalled. Since first discovering Moonpig, whenever I want a personalised card, especially when I want to include a photo upload, Moonpig has always been my go-to.

Because I have 3 special family birthdays coming up, I thought I would use Moonpig as I knew I could use the search facility on the website to get exactly what I was looking for. It seemed logical to order them and have them all delivered at the same time to my home address so I will have them ready for the 3 big days. I knew that the cards would be delivered to my home address and that each card would include a blank envelope for me to add the recipient’s details myself at the appropriate time. Perfect.

As always, the personalisation and ordering process was very straightforward. I ordered one large and two giant photo-upload personalised cards. (The giant cards are massive!) Just three days later, I had received the 3 lovely quality cards and, as usual, was very happy with them, confident that they will put a smile on the recipients’ faces.

BUT I have one big gripe. There was no option for having all the cards delivered in one postage envelope. I made it very clear that I wanted all the cards delivered to my home at the same time but there was no option (unless it was hidden from sight of someone like me who isn’t a computer expert) for me to have all the cards delivered together. I was only given one postage option and had to pay for each card to be sent via Royal Mail tracked delivery separately. Not only was this unnecessarily expensive (£10.97 – nearly eleven quid for postage!) it is also extremely wasteful and not at all considerate for the environment. In the space of a few hours, I received 3 separate, large delivery envelopes, delivered to my home.

Following this experience, I will be reluctant to order from Moonpig again. Sorry Moonpig, just 3 stars this time.
