I am a middle aged woman living and working in Pontypridd, South Wales. Originally from West Yorkshire, Pontypridd has been home since 1989. Although my roots are still in Yorkshire, I very much feel part of the Welsh community.
I would like to acknowledge my amazing son for setting up this blog website for me and for helping me to come up with a name that captures my heart: that I am both Yorkshire and Welsh at the same time.
I have always enjoyed writing. (Well, I suppose it started sometime after I had mastered writing in full sentences). Much of my writing over the years is lost forever in old notebooks or floppy disks. Going forward, I hope to use this blog to post my new thoughts and to occasionally add some of my earlier writing.
